8yrs Water Skills :: 8yrs – can enter only this or swim but not both
Surf Swim :: 8yrs, 9yrs, 10yrs, 11yrs, 12yrs, 13yrs
Board :: 8yrs, 9yrs, 10yrs, 11yrs, 12yrs, 13yrs
Golden Nipper :: 11yrs, 12yrs, 13yrs
Beach Flags :: 8yrs, 9yrs, 10yrs, 11yrs, 12yrs, 13yrs
Beach Sprints :: 8yrs, 9yrs, 10yrs, 11yrs, 12yrs, 13yrs
1km Run :: 8yrs, 9yrs, 10yrs, 11yrs, 12yrs, 13yrs
Note – distances for the 8/9yrs have increased for National Champs
COMPETITOR COMPETENCY:
For the Championship, all competitors wishing to enter water events must hold the relevant Competencies.
Note swim distances will be greater than the Nipper Pathway – dependent on surf etc.
Nipper Bronze (8-9 year olds)
Nipper Silver (10+ years) or higher
Competitors do not need any qualification for beach events.

MEMBERSHIP:
All competitors must be registered individually with SLSGB, be a member of a club for 2025 and hold the recognised competency qualifications for events entered.
Clubs must be affiliated to Surf Life Saving Devon.
CONSENT:
Where it is required – all clubs must be in possession of the appropriate parental consent forms.
